  okay, i am in a bit of a dilemma.

  since i believe in honesty between marriage mates, i have been telling my wife about this board and my participation on it.

  i feel it is only right so that she won't feel like i have anything to hide.

  Gary Neal: I very happy I grabbed your attention that's why I took time to post on your treads. I know I'm rude and nasty and many posters hate me. so what I out argue any jw in 5 minutes 10 minutes if I'm being nice. 95% of the posters here get sh*t on by they jw family. guess were I learned to be rude and nasty ? from these lovely jw's that your are eating dinner with... it's good your asking questions about 1914 etc It's obivious from reading your posts thst your not qualified to but jw's in there place. as about 90% of the posters here are not qualified to really handle jw's. I tell it like it is. you need any help just PM ME. and I will twist your local jw's into a knot. john

  Totally Busted and Scared!!!!!!

  my husband and i have been fading/disappearing for a few months now.

  we haven't been to meetings in quite some time, but most of our family members live out of the area, so they don't know yet.

  so with the spirit of joy that comes from newly exiting a doomsday cult, we have been celebrating all the holidays as well as my 5 year old's birthday (she turned 5 on december 2).

  garyneal; you got a lot of great advice in this thread and at least half of the posters on this thread have grown a backbone but 5 pages AND YOUR ANSWERS don't show me you have grown a backbone. so your wife says to stop hand give someone a battery boost or help change a flat tire... SO WHAT lots of people do that. or teachers buy school supplies from thier pocket.   Visiting brother gets fed today...

  i suffered through 3 hours of jw-dom by going to the meeting with my wife because my daughter wanted to go and my niece was being carried too.

  a part of me feels a bit obligated to go when my daughter goes out of protection for her and a part of me feels like i should go since my wife had two small girls going with her and my daughter alone is a handful.. a visiting brother in the neighboring city of suffolk, va gave a talk today and some of the people wanted to take him out to dinner.

  my wife was invited to go along and she was real excited about that.

  Gary neal; I'm very serious , I have read 1000's of stories here over the last 8 years from posters that hsve let the jw's crap all over them, and never really knew what to do and just keep getting kicked. and I have seen it personnaly with my jw family and other jw's I have known for 40 years. glad you brought your daughter getting spanked at the hall . well let me tell you 40 years ago kids were getting the hell beat out of them at the halls. one time my dad beat my brother so bad at the hall. his face was all black and blue for a week, couldn't go to school etc. my mom (non jw)got so pissed at my father she wouldn't let us kids go the the k hall. well my father said no hall for the kids no grocery money. for over a month we kids would eat only at school and what ever was in the kitchen cabenit. often times eating at my grandma's eating rice or plain pasta till the cabenit was BARE. To top it off my dad would come home with one big steak or pork chops cook it for HIMSELF. and then eat it himself ,then tell us if we wanted to eat right all we needed to do was tell mommy to send us back to the hall,. you talk about SICK. ANOTHER TIME MY DAD BEAT THE CRAP OUT OF MY OTHER BROTHER BECAUSE because some sister said my brother hit her son in school the little angel. well a week or 2 later my mother showed up at the k hall and dragged this sister out of her seat and started kicking her ass right in the aisle it took my dad and a few other men to get my mom off of her. that was the last time she ever said a word about any of us kids. I don't know if you get the point of this ,but the jw's try to break you will and the will of children. none of my mothers kids ever became jw's thanks to my mom . because she cursed them at every turn and called them false prophets etc. that's all I heard growing up mom and dad fighting over the wts. that can be your family TOO... I would put a complete stop to your daughter going to the hall and any jw book studies etc. I would forbid them in my house, and from talking with my children. In fact my dad is forbidden to talk to my children and everytime he didn't listen to my wishes I caused him more touble with the jw's than I'm willing to post. at the fisrt few book studies the jw's have with a new person , they use the line to "test your religion and see if they are telling yout the truth and being honest with you " in the" truth that leads to etenal life" book pg 13 1968 well try testing the history of the wt and jw's go crazy. if I was you I would start with "CRISIS OF CONSCIENCE" RAYMOND FRANZ BOOK AND GO INTO FREEMINDS.ORG WEBSITE AND LOOK UP THE FALSE PROPHECY PAGE there is enough there to make any jw look like a spritual drunkard in 5 minutes also look up JW RESEARCH IN GOOGLE IT'S KEN RAINES SITE SDOMETHING LIKE SEANET.COM. YOUR EYES WILL BE OPENED LIKE NEVER BEFORE. be smart take your daughter to the park, sking, zoo, circus, library, movie, city dump anywhere every time there is a jw meeting. and make you wife learn the wt history. before it's to late. wishing you well .

  gary : sinis gave you good advise here . get away from these people as fast as possible. they will destroy your marriage and family step by step. you have no idea what your dealing with. I feel really sorry for you, at the rate your going either you will become a jw or they will kick you to the curb and steal your family. and leave you in a world of pain. I surprised your not getting better advise from the posters here. Then again I'm not surprised your not getting good advise here because most posters here have no back bone and love getting shitted on by their jw family. and keep hanging out with these jw's and they will do the same to you unless you join. I don't mean to be rude but these are facts. the wts is robbing your family straight out from under your nose , and smiling in your face while taking your loved ones away... and your too BLIND TO SEE IT.   a few times in the ministry i would find someone clued in who would ask the jw on their doorstep " so what your saying is, unless i join your religon god will kill me?

  and everyone else who isn't part of your religon?

  " now theres only one answer to that question as far as jw's are concerned but i never saw a single one answer that with a straight answer, mostly i suspect because they were so uncomfortable about being made to face the truth about their beliefs..

  i have been thinking lately about how the jw's believe that satan was kicked out of heaven in 1914 after the war in heaven.. first of all, why did it take so long for jehovah to finally decide to kick him out of heaven from the time that he decieved and turned his back on jehovah in genesis?

  why was satan allowed to have access to heaven in the between time up until 1914?.

  also, if revelation is supposed to be a future event, why do the jw's use that event as "already occurred"?.

  i have been thinking lately about how the jw's believe that satan was kicked out of heaven in 1914 after the war in heaven.. first of all, why did it take so long for jehovah to finally decide to kick him out of heaven from the time that he decieved and turned his back on jehovah in genesis?

  why was satan allowed to have access to heaven in the between time up until 1914?.

  also, if revelation is supposed to be a future event, why do the jw's use that event as "already occurred"?.

  if I remember the 6th seal was at some 1920's wts convention. and wasn't the 1260 days from 1914-1918 or was it from 1915-1918 or 1919 when rutherFRAUD was let out of jail. or some other crazy prophecy like 1918 till the 1922 convention at cedar point ohio? oh but I forgot the YEAR FOR A DAY BIBLE CRONOLOGY SO ADD 1260 YEARS TO 1914 AND YOU GET THE YEAR 3174 but wait the wts said till the 1930's that adding 1260 day (day for a year) TO 539 A.D. when some rabbi got killed . 539+ 1260 DAYS BRINGS YOU TO THE YEAR 1799 AS THE START OF THE TIME OF THE END. WHEN NEPOLEAN THREW THE POPE OUT OF ROME. you have to love wts cronology it has A 100% RECORD OF BEING WRONG FOR THE LAST 130 YEARS....   there are just to many verses that say satan was thrown out of heaven at least 2000 years ago maybe even 6000 years ago. and I will list a few gen 3;14 and sata are lower than the beasts in the fields and will eat dirt for the rest of your days, Isa. 14:12 how art has fallen from heaven O LUCIFER cut down to the ground. Luke 16:19-25 lazarus and the rich man Lazarus lived 2000 years ago but the rich man was in hell already... 2 peter 2:4 and the bad angels have benn cast into chains of darkness in hell jude 1:6 but the angels who leftheaven were locked in everlasting chains under darkness. rev12;7-17 and THERE WAS A WAR IN HEAVEN with satan being cast out . this is at least 2000 years ago not " there will be a war in heaven in 1914. all of these verses and more are all PAST TENSE. the wts hates the bible and the words of christ.

  Intellects do not believe in God

  on our trip back home from the thanksgiving holiday spent at our home town my wife labeled me an intellect.

  normally, i would've been flattered with the title but when she called me that she was referencing the bible verse matthew 11:25. this offended me to say the least.. she said that it was hard for people like me to have faith in something because i will always investigate it and make sure of it.

  for example, if someone told me that the grass was green, she said i would not believe them and research grass and the color green to ensure that it really was.. i told her that this was absurd and that i see no reason to research whether or not the grass was green when i can see with my own eyes what color it is.

  gary your doing good 1 thes 5;21 is the verse i use on jw's all the time . to make them prove that jesus choose the wts in 1914-1919 I alwayys bring up old teachings and use this verse and ask did jesus approve of this wacky teaching in 1918? have you as a jw read all thw wt books till 1918 to prove to your self that jesus was happy with what they were teaching? then I bring up a long list of false teaching from that time. and I can't seem to figure out why your going to book studies and eating with jw family. I would tell them to all drop dead. sounds like you give the elders to much respect and they will shit all over you. tell them to prove jesus choose the wts in 1918 from studing the "finished mystery " 1917 version with you till them they don't follow bible standards in 1 thes 5;21 it's simple as that. refuse to study anything else . you want to feel just as happy as jesus did from 1914-1918 ,only studying what the wts was teaching when jesus choose them. and Moshe gave you easy facts to expose them on blood I show jw's no quarter and I next to never lose an arguement with them . good luck
